++ HELPED A GUY get his car out of our street tonight. our street is a trap. you think there's a spot there to park in. and there is. but then you can't get out, because of the ice. so the story isn't anything exciting or even remotely interesting actually. only that john and i helped push this guy out of the parking spot. the not so secret secret is to get your car turned as completely sideways as possible and let gravity to the rest. which means you have to keep turning and going forward and then turing the other way and going backward and then keep turning again and go forward. its ok to use the grass for added traction. this guy kept spinning his wheels and i swear they must be bald now. we finally pushed his car out and he asked if he should get our names and come back to thank us and we told him no. that instead, to thank us, he should stop to help the next person who needs help getting out of their parking spot. ++
